Celebrating Your Body Temple
MY ART & YOUR BODY TEMPLE
I fell in love with an acrylic painting process over twenty years ago. Swirly, fluid, and an occasional patterned design flows through me and onto paper. Surrendering to this practice creates space for inspiration to flourish. It is my doorway toward a life filled with spontaneity, joy, and passion. This energy is embedded within each of my intuitive paintings. The paintings are miraculously translated directly to my women's clothing collection of scarves, kimonos, wrap skirts, totes, pouches, and headbands.
Enhancing your experience, an uplifting title and inspiring story accompanies each design. Like the paintings, the titles and stories flow through me. I trust you will gravitate towards a painting title that will become an uplifting mantra and a story that will become an inspiring reflection for you.
Embrace and celebrate your body temple with art-full clothing and accessories!
ART CLASSES FOR KIDS & ADULTS
I love facilitating art classes with kids and adults. All of my classes have a relaxed foundation of comfort and a focus on nourishing the imagination and cultivating the joy in experimenting. My classes are designed with the premise that there are no mistakes during the creative process.
On another note, please know that I have earned a master’s degree in education and have been teaching for over twenty years, both in and outside of formal classrooms and with preschool age children to adults.
I work with both individuals and groups, most often online.
kids
My children’s classes use basic household items. We experiment with texture, color, shape, and design. We use scissors and notice the sound they make cutting and glue or tape to witness the magic of how things can be attached. A basic idea and skills are presented. Then the children grow their imaginations to complete the project in ways that are meaningful to them.
Adults
My adult Origami Box Making class is a blast! The first part of the class is following the visual and oral directions on how to fold. The second half of the class is embellishing the origami’s interior and exterior. Each origami box is unique, becoming a gift for oneself or another. It’s an uplifting and satisfying experience.
In the Let It Be Box class, you are invited to embellish a wooden box with a variety of materials provided as well as materials meaningful to you. This box becomes a vessel for you to use to release worries, frustrations, or patterns that no longer serve you. Using your Let It Be Box in everyday life becomes a tangible way to let things go.
I look forward to creating with you or your children!
